General Settings Overview

This section allows you to customize your trading platform to match your preferences, such as selecting the language, adjusting time zones, and enabling specific interface options for a more personalized experience.

1. Languages

  • Description: You can select your preferred language for the platform interface. In the example, English is chosen, but other languages are available on the platform.
  • Why It Matters: Language customization ensures the interface is easy to understand and operate in your native or preferred language.

2. Time Zone

  • Description: Adjust the time zone of the platform to match your local time or the time zone you want to reference for trades. 
  • Why It Matters: Time zone synchronization helps in better tracking of trade times, market openings/closings, and historical data analysis.

3. Currency

  • Description: Allows you to select the currency in which you wish to view your balances and trading data. The field is currently not selected in the image.
  • Why It Matters: Ensures that profits, losses, and balances are displayed in a currency familiar or relevant to you.

4. Profit on Tab

  • Description: This toggle allows you to display profit/loss directly on the tabs within the interface.
  • Why It Matters: Turning this feature on lets you quickly monitor your current profit or loss status without diving into detailed views.

5. Fix Trade Panel in the Chart

  • Description: A toggle option to pin the trade panel directly within the chart interface. This option is enabled (blue) in the image.
  • Why It Matters: Helps maintain easy access to the trade panel while working with charts, allowing for faster trade adjustments.

6. Fixed Menu Display

  • Description: Keeps the main menu fixed on the screen for easier navigation, preventing it from collapsing or hiding when not in use. The toggle is turned on (blue).
  • Why It Matters: A fixed menu ensures that important sections of the platform are always accessible, improving workflow efficiency.

7. Multi-Trade Panel Mode

  • Description: This feature, which is currently disabled (red), enables a multi-trade mode for the panel. It may allow the user to manage multiple trades simultaneously from a single interface.
  • Why It Matters: Useful for advanced traders who want to handle several open trades in parallel for better management and decision-making.

8. Display Multi chart

  • Description: Enables or disables the multi chart feature, allowing you to view multiple charts simultaneously. This toggle is enabled (blue).
  • Why It Matters: Multi chart view is ideal for traders who track multiple assets or markets at the same time.


9. Reset Settings

  • Description: A button to restore all platform settings back to default. This provides an option to undo any changes or personalization's made to the platform.
  • Why It Matters: If any settings create confusion or issues, this option allows users to easily return the platform to its original, factory settings for troubleshooting or simplicity.


Tabs in the Settings Menu:

  • General: The main customization settings like language, time zone, appearance, and key interface preferences.
  • Sounds: Likely contains settings related to audio alerts, notifications, or other sound-based features.
  • Platform Confirmations: Probably includes settings for confirming trades, order placements, or other critical actions on the platform.
  • Notifications: Settings for controlling pop-ups, alerts, or email/SMS notifications.
  • Hotkeys: Settings for assigning keyboard shortcuts to various functions on the platform for quicker access and efficiency.
